Pieter Allaerts

As a son, father, husband, and manager, his passion comes from the pleasure of others while earning their confidence, showing them gratitude, sharing their support and always striving to serve with excellence. Whether it's in the kitchen (he is a foodie), at work (building mutual respect) or riding his bike (pushing limits, freeing his mind), it's always about reaching his full potential so others can reach theirs.

He enjoyed 20 years in hospitality & 15 years in the meetings (MICE) industry, 10 years as a volunteer for MPI and am the proud winner of an MPI Rise award and winner of some individual & team awards at Dolce Hotels & Resorts.

Pieter's passion for MPI started in May 2011. It started by 4 years of Board experience (Education, Membership & Finance) and was highlighted by 2 years serving as President for MPI Belgium chapter (2014-2016). Today Pieter is serving as chair of MPI's European Advisory Council.

Thanks to MPI Pieter came in contact as well with the IACC association (International Association of Conference centers) where he is currently VP Europe serving the global IACC Board of Directors.
