Kathi Finch helps brilliant technical thinkers become influential, engaging communicators. 

Kathi uses her decades of theater experience and training to help non-actors build better relationships with clients and co-workers. Her fun and interactive workshops for engineers, IT professionals, and other technical thinkers take acting skills and positive communication strategies into the workplace to help teams increase profits, improve morale, and deepen connections.

A highly experienced speaker, Kathi has facilitated trainings for groups as varied as Seegrid, K2 Engineering, Haemonetics, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, ALCOSAN, Versatex, Ferro, BAW Plastics, Ellwood City Hospital, Brentwood Bank, Cellone's Bakery, NF & M, Bolland Machine, ARDEX Americas, the Pittsburgh Promise, Citiparks, PA CareerLink, and the Pennsylvania Adult Day Services Association.

Kathi is a professional member of the National Speakers Association. She is a graduate of the Coro Center for Civic Leadership's "Women in Leadership" program and was a recipient of Pittsburgh Magazine's "40 Under 40" award. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. Kathi won 11 local Toastmasters Speech contests from 2014 to 2016 and brings a dynamic presence to her trainings and keynotes.

In her free time, Kathi enjoys acting in community theater and writing sketch comedy. She's performed onstage for more than thirty years and has a Master of Arts degree in Theater Education. Not content with just practicing theater arts, she began practicing martial arts in 2015. Now, Kathi regularly taps into her inner "Karate Kid" by practicing taekwondo. She is a Certified Instructor with the American Taekwondo Association and a former State Champion in her division. Kathi earned her third degree black belt in 2021 and is now working toward her fourth degree rank.
