When you grow up "Bluecollar" and you don't have enough money to go to college but, you know that you cann't afford to not go to college, you have to do something. You work hard and smart. You work all night and study all day(and I did) . I grew up in a small town in south Louisiana and went to a small mediocre college. I did not have the best of anything but, I made the best of everything. How do you go from always being the underdog to being the bigdog?
My father once told me that in business and life, you have to "be the obvious choice". You have to be so good that there is no other choice. You have to be so good that to not choose you could be detrimental to the company!
