Steve is a successful entrepreneur who owns three Academy of Learning locations, Steve has worked in the Private College industry for 26 years and is passionate about the training. Steve has sat on the board of the Private Career Training Institutions Agency and is past President of this Government Board. Steve was instrumental in building this organization and helping to create the By-Laws and Regulations that ensured a high quality of education to all British Columbia students, local as well as international. Steve has served on the board of the British Columbia Career College Association and is a past president of said association.

Steve is the owner and president of the Zappa Media Consultants DBA Inspiration By Design and Fire Walking Now, where he is working with organizations to help build stronger and more effective relationships. Steve is also an Executive Coach and uses his experience and knowledge to help others maximize their organizations full potential as well Steve facilitates strategic planning, team building, and leadership so organizations can experience growth and meet their goals and expectations they set for themselves. Steve is also the owner and intimately involved in other business endeavors.

Steve earned his Master's degree in leadership at Royal Roads University and a second Master Degree in Human and Organizational Development as well as his Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems at Fielding University located in Santa Barbara California. This allowed Steve to not only study the latest theories on leadership, Human and Organizational Systems and Development but it allowed him to do his own research on Leadership and relationships so he could discover how to put the theories he was learning into practice. Steve admits "Theory alone cannot accomplish anything, but when you combine theory with research and 26 years of practical experience you have tools that are so powerful you can accomplish just about anything."

Steve is also active in the Community, having served as President of the ALS Society of BC and a member of that Board for over 7 years. Steve was on the Executive of the ALS Society of Canada as Treasurer and Vice President. Steve is also a past Board member of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Vancouver and has helped organize and run their largest fundraiser for the past 23 years. Steve is also an active Shriner and is current President (Potentate) of the Shriners of British Columbia and Yukon. Steve also enjoys his fun work as a Shrine Clown, named U-Whoo.

Steve delivers workshops and speaking engagements to US Government agencies, Canada Agencies, Large Businesses as well as small individual organizations, Steve has delivered many Key Note and once in a Life Time Experiences for EO Chapters and EO National events as well as may Franchise organizations. Steve also enjoys doing a percentage of his work every year to charitable organizations.

By taking his years of experience as an entrepreneur, his research and love of motivation and overcoming fear. Steve has developed some of the most interesting and challenging once in a lifetime workshops that include Firewalking, Glasswalking, Brick Breaking and Arrow Breaking to name a few. Steve's main goal is to help people overcome their fear and to break out of the box they live in to accomplish the most amazing things they feel possible. Nothing is too large of a challenge for Steve to take on, so why should it be for anyone he works with.

Steve has been married for 30 years and has two daughters who are both studying at University now.
