Mark Christopher Lawrence
2 time Emmy Award-nominated actor/comedian Mark Christopher Lawrence was raised in Compton California alongside his two siblings, Jerry and Laura, by his single God-fearing mother Lee. MCL has been the recipient of many awards throughout his professional acting career that spans better than three decades. His favorite is the 2012 San Diego Critic's Circle Craig Noel: Award – Outstanding Actor Of The Year for his work in two plays, A Raisin In The Sun and TopDog UnderDog. He recently received the CONTENT2020 film festival award for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film for his work on Sleeper Agent.
MCL is an international headliner that has worked with the likes of Sinbad, Jerry Seinfeld, Rodney Dangerfield, and Jeff Foxworthy as well as, having headlined clubs and colleges all over the USA and Canada. With over three decades in the Entertainment Industry, MCL is best known for his series regular role as Big Mike on the NBC TV series CHUCK. He has over 100 appearances in TV and film and has recently completed production on the OWN Network's Christmas production of ONE FINE CHRISTMAS and another Christmas film called 2nd Chance For Christmas which is available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV and on DVD at Walmart. MCL's most recent film work includes Family Camp, Sleeper Agent (viewable on PureFlix), a short film The Flourish (NATAS PSW Emmy Nominated), and a short film, $TACK$ (Daytime Emmy Nominated), in which he starred in and co-produced.
MCL has a recurring role in the pilot season of a new Tyler Perry drama All The Queens Men, which will air on BET+. MCL is also recurring on the PureFlix.com comedy hit, Malibu Dan: The Family Man.
