Helping you tell your story to the people who need to hear it. Is your sole purpose to sell? I am not interested. If you provide a service or product that you believe in, educate me in, I am all ears.

Wordpress Web Designer, Blogger, Writer ~ I truly love the creativity that these three areas give me. I work at making things unique to the client and to myself. I don't choose to be like everyone else.  Yes, there are design techniques to use, but that doesn't mean I can't tweak!

Judys Business Blog is a combination of business tips for the woman small business entrepreneur. I started this blog in 2009 and am still going strong today. My background is technology, and I do all I can to find an efficient way to keep our social networks updated.

Many of our social networks sync with other social networks, and I recommend and help others install the apps on their smartphones. Once we have synced the social networks with their corresponding social networks it is very easy to take a picture or short video and upload or share it via your smartphone.

Your WordPress blog? Currently, when I publish a blog post, it goes out to 7 of my social networks (with just a click of the button).  A great way to accomplish the blogging and posting all in one!   If you are writing an article or submitting some words of wisdom, utilize the free versions of Pro Writing Aid and Grammarly. These are phenomenal online tools.

I truly enjoy showcasing other business entrepreneurs. I receive some great pearls of wisdom and absolutely share them on my blog. I do not have any advertisements on my sites. You see, it is a pet peeve of mine. I start reading something, click on the link to finish reading and bam!  All these popups appear. I have to click through them before I can read the rest of the article. For me, that is a total turn off. I will click right out of there, never reading the rest of the story!

I started in technology when I was 19. Data Entry was the job. I found it fascinating and wanted to know how I could tweak the code so my keying was faster than anyone else! Yes, you can chuckle! Totally competitive - but it sparked an interest in technology (behind the scenes) that still is with me to this day. I went on to contract out to Microsoft and was a windows phone support technician. I also worked at HP as a Software Test Engineer. (I loved this job)

I taught computer classes to Kindergarten through the 6th grade and set up computer labs in the elementary school system. I was a Community Services Commissioner for the City of Hercules, a CASA for Contra Costa County, PTA President at both he Unit and District levels. Foster Parenting opened my eyes to what these kids were struggling with, being an adoptive parent, I quickly realized how special that is, and yes, I have children of my own.

I utilize Quickbooks, not only do I run the books for other entrepreneurs, but I teach them how to utilize this tool. As an entrepreneur, we tend to take on all the duties of our business. Unfortunately, things start to slide. Many entrepreneurs come from being an employee for many years, yet they have entrepreneurial qualities. Many have a hobby they started, and decided to turn that into a business. Unfortunately, many still think like an employee.

Getting out of that mindset isn't easy. But it is a must if you choose to be successful at what you do. Being a micro manager, or someone who has to be in total control will eventually cause your business to fail. Learning to hire the right team members, or volunteers is key to your business success.
