Mark Leslie Lefebvre has been writing since he was thirteen years old and discovered his mother's Underwood typewriter collecting dust in a closet. His first published story was released in 1992, the same year he began his career in the book industry.
A former President of Canadian Booksellers Association and Board Member of BookNet Canada, Mark has managed at independent bookstores, chain bookstores, big box bookstores, and online & digital bookstores. He headed up the digital catalog acquisition team for Canada's largest book chain, (Chapters/Indigo), created the 2nd business in Canada to run a successful Print on Demand (POD) operation using an Espresso Book Machine at McMaster University, and is the former Director of Self-Publishing and Author Relations for Rakuten Kobo, Inc where he assisted thousands of authors with earning five, six and seven figure incomes via independent eBook publishing.
Under the name Mark Leslie, he has published more than twenty books. He pens a series of non-fiction paranormal ghost story explorations for Dundurn, Canada's largest independent publisher. He also writes fiction (thrillers and dark fantasy) and edits anthologies, most recently as a regular editor for the WMG Publishing Fiction River anthology series.
