Lynda Hykin
Not too long ago Lynda woke up one morning and found herself alone with a failed business, broke, no job, and about to make her 1997 plymouth voyager van her new home.
She was 55 years old and couldn't get a job anywhere. Even Walmart didn't want her! She says, 'I was old, broke, homeless and terrified.' After selling everything she owned, including the van, Lynda had a grand total of $1,200. After 40 years of working she was worth $1,200. Her entire life now fit into two suitcases.
Everything she thought she treasured – gone
Everything she thought had value – gone
Everything she thought defined who she was as a person – gone
Her life now was 2 suitcases.
A lifetime spent living in a comfort zone designed by others, being homeless, a 3 month long emotional journey cleaning out her Mother's house, and owning nothing more than what fit into those 2 suitcases, Lynda shares her story of how it all came together - to create a new business, a new attitude and a new life - designed by her.
Kown as The Purging Queen, Lynda 'gets real' and delivers a powerful message. She uses humor, her life experiences and stories to provide the audience with the tools necessary for immediate action. You walk away inspired, motivated, knowing what needs to be done, how to do it, and how to design the lifestyle you really want.
