Steve Cortes

Steve Cortes

IL, US
Fox News Contributor, Former Trump Campaign Operative

A 10 year veteran of cable news, Cortes presently serves as a senior CNN Political Commentator, building on his prior experience as a contributor for Fox News and CNBC. In 2016 Cortes appeared on hundreds of national news shows on behalf of the Trump campaign, becoming the Latino public face of the electoral shockwave. Steve persevered as a "happy warrior" in often hostile interviews and panels. National radio host Hugh Hewitt called him "the most effective Trump surrogate throughout the campaign, always level-headed." His former Fox News colleague Maria Bartiromo praised him as "a strong communicator who understood very early on what the people wanted."

Combined with Steve's two decade career on Wall Street, his television and political experiences make Steve the perfect speaker to inform and entertain audiences on current events, the economy, and policy. He can speak as either a keynote or in panels, often paired alongside a Democratic personality.

Cortes graduated from Georgetown University, where he played football and was nominated for the Rhodes Scholarship. He lives in Chicago with his wife and four children.
