An English Rose Delivering Authentic and Compassionate Speaking Events for Men and Women to Breakthrough Ground and Grow From Adversity

Scared BUT Brave

In England, 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week MIND Charity

It's a British triat to wear a brave face, to pretend all is OK when it isn't. Communicating in an authentic and compassionate manner is an art that engages your audience to relate and connect. Without helping people recognise and express their feelings in constructive ways, depression and ill mental health will continue to deepen. Either we learn to constructively express or suppress our feelings.

'Life's lessons are to learn from, to breakthrough and grow a rose' Ann Carver

I class myself as 'An English Rose' after making a conscious decision in my early twenties to take responsibility for my anxious, low self worth state that resulted after abuse growing up.   Committing to 17 years of  Iyengar Yoga enabled me to re-shape my life to a certain extent.  I went onto become a much loved teacher, with 140 students weekly, teaching in Hampshire England and Guernsey. However at the peak of my teaching career my mother, father and brother passed in quick succession.  Writing became my refuge and then speaking. Now my passion is to share my wisdom through authentic and compassionate communication.

Ann Carver is an Author, Advanced Communicator and Leader of Toastmasters International, Life Coach, Social Entrepreneur, plus spent 17 years as an Iyengar Yoga Teacher and Student.
