NY, USHi I'm Leora! A proud, born-and-raised Detroit goddess!In 2002, I drove a U-Haul by myself to NYC where I found my second home.
I discovered sisterhood for the first time at age seven, when I joined the Girl Scouts. It was a place I could escape the abuse that was happening at home and bring my full expressed self to place where I wasn't asked to be small.
When we became teenagers we did what teenagers do and became "cool." This led to isolation and I found myself in abusive relationships.
When I moved to NYC at age 25 I tried everything to get that exhilarating feeling back!
What I didn't know was missing was sacred sisterhood.
One day, I said enough of this "being alone" bullshit that society has forced onto women! That week I began a circle with seven other women. This circle was a place where we could express all our emotions and learn to celebrate one another instead of taking each other down like society had taught us.
Something reawakened in our bones.
In our two years together I saw tremendous growth! From falling in love with ourselves, to growing bellys and bank accounts.
None of our desires could have came to life if it wasn't the belief of another sister that we could have it!
In 2012, Goddess On The Go was born. Goddess On The Go is a company that brings women together for one-of-a-kind experiences to rediscover that they ARE the lost treasure the world has been waiting for.
Our experiences are designed so you will:
-begin to slow down and take exquisite care of yourself
-develop friendships with women that feel nurturing and safe
-find yourself taking risks which turn you on
-notice a richness that begins to affect all your
relationships
-own your worth and ask for more money
-have more FUN than you've had in a very LONG time!
Goddess On The Go has had the blessing of growing at a rapid rate. Our events have been held internationally in Tulum, Mexico as well as in Hawaii, New York, Los Angeles and Detroit—and we are looking to expand.
Our work has been featured in: Elle Magazine, Lucky Magazine, The LA Times, and several others.
