M.Div., PCC, CEBCOH, US
I work with Gen-X and Millennial frontline and middle managers in corporate environments and coach those who want to feel more motivated, confident, and clear.

I started my career in ministry, but came to the conclusion that the church wasn't the best fit for me at the time. I pursued a career in management: first in retail and then higher education, where I was recruited as a culture-change facilitator. It was there that I felt my old training in spirituality being used in a business environment, a combination I carry forward with me now.

After six years as a professional facilitator and consultant in organizational culture change, I became a professional coach working with both individuals and groups. I now work with professionals who are developing their leadership skills, experiencing a career crisis or transition, or are reevaluating life choices.

I particularly love working with leaders who are struggling, who have high ideals that the people around them aren't meeting, so they live in frustration and disappointment that others don't perform enough, don't listen enough, aren't committed enough, etc. I help these leaders get dramatically better results—when they are committed to learning about their own contributions to these dynamics.

BetterUp members who have worked with me have shown measurable improvement in Strategic Planning, Empowering Others, Growth Mindset, Empathizing with Others, and much more!

I have expertise in working with the common, everyday anxiety many of us carry, often because of the voice of our inner critic.

Giving and Receiving Feedback

When team members experience psychological safety along with accountability and motivation, they find themselves in a learning zone where they feel encouraged to create, innovate, and collaborate fully.
You know the people around you need constructive change, but you're in a bind. If your feedback comes across as too hard, they learn to resent you. If you don't speak up and nothing changes, you may resent them.

You need a third way - a way you've already been looking...

Navigating and Leading Change

Develop participants' ability to navigate not just the tangible aspects of change, but the mental and emotional white-water-rapids of highly-charged changes like losing your job, dealing with the acquisition of your company or merger, or acquiring new software. Leaders will receive additional information for leading change with momentum, purpose, and resilience. All participants will learn about the skills to process change and be ready to move forward.

Performance Skills (choose your topic)

I facilitate one-hour lunch & learn meetings on any one of these topics:

In each Lunch & Learn, participants are invited to reflect on their own experiences and challenges and receive information about the habits that hold us back from effectively developing our skill along with a series of tried-and-true development strategies that will help them to become skilled and even talented.

All of these are the "soft" skills that can be so difficult to understand...
