Inspire, Empower, and Ignite your guests with the Inspirational Force of this world-class MOTIVATOR!

Big Rob The Motivator is a professional keynote speaker and entrepreneur. He has taken his CLAIM WHO YOU ARE Tour to thousands of people across the Midwest. It all started at the age of 16 when he gave his very first sermon to a church congregation. By the age of 20 Big Rob decided to pursue a career in law enforcement to continue to serve his community. After spending many years as an officer for the Illinois Dept. of Corrections and the Cook County Sheriff's Dept. he decided to pursue his true passion, helping people through entrepreneurship.

Big Rob started his first business in 2002... a film production company that crashed and burned like so many independent film production companies before him. But that did not discourage him. He collected his ego, dusted himself off, and tried again. His next attempt was a huge success, but not overnight. His first year he made $3000. But that modest number eventually transformed into a six-figure company. Then Big Rob took on the art world as an abstract/impressionist artist making $3000 in one day in his first gallery show in Chicago.

Big Rob The Motivator takes his many experiences as an officer and entrepreneur and engages audiences from beginning to end. His humorous approach and passionate sincerity leave audiences wanting more.

BIG ROB THE MOTIVATOR IN HIS OWN WORDS:
"In 2007, I was eating honey bun snacks for dinner. It was all I could afford. My foolish pride would not allow me to pick up a phone (In '07 we actually used phones to make phone calls), and ask my family and friends for a little help. They wouldn't have blinked. But I wanted to "go through the fire" alone... prove to myself that I could make it on my own.

I wanted to be an entrepreneur, be self-employed. That year I quit my job. I was working for billionaires. Opening Bentley doors for corporate CEO's, accepting flower deliveries for diamond-bedazzled socialites and helping Forbes 500 Listers with their bags. I wanted something more for myself. It wasn't because I thought the job I had was beneath me... it was because I knew I wasn't exploring my full potential. I was doing myself a disservice by ignoring my gut and walking into that job every day and feeling unfulfilled. So I quit. Cold turkey. And started a business.
I made about $3000 that first year, hence the honey bun snacks for dinner. $3000 a year doesn't go far when your rent is $1000 per month and healthy food in Chicago seems to be only for the rich. I was broke. Frustrated. Desperate. I needed a life-saving plan and I needed it NOW! And I'd like to tell you more at your next seminar, corporate conference or employee conference. Tell you about how I dug myself out with having only earned $3000 that first year. Tell you about how I made $3000 in one day with my next business. Tell you about how the business I started in 2007 has allowed me the financial freedom to be truly self-employed.

Motivating individuals to explore and find their inner strength is what I love to do. Every employee and business owner carries a vital role in the success of their company. That acceptance and understanding carry over into everyone's personal life. When you feel fulfilled you approach life with more energy, focus, and productivity. It opens the door to your true potential. "

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

The greatest feeling is to have audience members tell you how you've helped them to change their lives. Students that were once below average students have excelled to A and B students and employees that felt stuck in their roles find themselves quickly climbing the corporate ladder. Aside from those tangible reasons it is also the intangibles that give me a sense of fulfillment in the work that I do. Hearing a young father describe his renewed commitment to his family or a young woman deciding to pursue a small business because she was inspired at a speaking engagement. Speaking to audiences has been the most fulfilling experience I've ever been involved with. I love it!

CLAIM WHO YOU ARE!

The Sept. 11th attacks affected people around the world. And in 2001 it affected my life as well. After returning to the U.S. mainland from Puerto Rico to continue on my path of law enforcement I was met with closed doors as the U.S. government initiated a hiring freeze due to the attacks. For the next 6 years, I would face near homelessness, hunger, and instability as I struggled to find my way into a different career path. In 2007 I began to initiate my "CLAIM WHO YOU ARE" thought process...
