As a speaker with over 26 years coaching experience, Lori Koch provides perspective and learning with humorous storytelling. Participants gain strategies in adopting lessons to fit individual core beliefs and a sense of renewed joy in daily life.
Lori received a Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science. And she earned a Masters degree in Family Life and Adult Continuing Education. For seven years, she taught high school FACS. She learned the most important thing to a teenager's success was to build their self-confidence. Then she became a 4-H Youth Agent in Cooperative Extension. She worked with 1,000 adult volunteers, mainly women, to help them lead and develop programs to engage children and youth.
Just after she turned 30 she found a wonderful man who wasn't embarrassed by her laugh! Soon they were married and had three girls in 30 months. As a mom, she came up with new approaches that would work with one of the girls for a while. Then she had to use her next idea for the next child or another situation. After years of making it up as she went, she is on the other side of parenting.
Lori tailors her presentation to meet the goals of each group within any format. It could be a short talk, a lunch and learn, a keynote presentation or a series of classes.
Topics include: Motherhood & Parenting, Dealing with Life's challenges, and Being your best self.
