Isaac Madengu

Born in Africa, I have now lived on three continents, in three time zones, in three different countries and I have visited over ten different countries. My life is a fairytale to many because of what I have become because of where I was born, I made it.

Speaking was not a career my parents ever thought I would take, it was not even on their radar let alone their minds. For most of my life, I was a disgrace to my family, I got into trouble more times than I care to count. In Africa Motivational Speakers were not on top of anyone's list to be or to know, they were not a thing to be talked about and so calling out that I wanted to be one came with a sense and a label that I was not a serious contender to be anything in life. 

My life became a constant battle of trying to prove that I was mentally functional and also that I knew what I was talking about and I could open my mouth and talk. Life seemed to play tricks on me, here I was shouting to anyone who would listen that I wanted to be a Motivational Speaker yet standing in front of people was my crypton. Just the thought alone of standing in front of two people was a huge task for me, I was failing before I had even started.  

I became my own student, I coached myself & motivated myself to do things I feared, stand up to myself when I felt down and also stand up to people who wanted to help me stay down and pity myself. After I tried to take my own life and failed, discovering my purpose became my life's mission and now living my purpose is my life's work. I found my drive, my passion and my purpose in life and I have made it my life's work to help people searching find their purpose and live in it.

Two animals helped me in my mental fight to become more, the lion and the eagle. While the lion is not the fastest animal, it's not the smartest of the strongest animal in the jungle yet the lion is King of the jungle. Why, why is the lion called the King of the jungle, well, I believe it's because he has an attitude superior to all the other animals. A lion thinks he can and he does, he does not think twice, what he wants is what he gets. On the other hand, an Eagle is the only bird that you will find flying in the storm, why because they have mastered how to fly in the storm. If an eagle meets another bird in the storm it is undoubtedly another eagle. Pigeons, swallows, and crows will never be found flying in the storm so to survive life's storms I have to be willing to master how to fly in the storm like an eagle. 

My heart is that you connect to your passion, that you find the lion inside you that has the can do attitude, live your purpose and be who you were born to be. Nothing in life is better than fulfilling your dreams and maximizing your potential, I pray that I can help you get to where you see your destiny and that you get there happy.
