
Tracey Long Carisch

CO, USTracey Carisch is an international speaker, leadership consultant, and award-winning author of the book Excess Baggage: One Family's Around-the-World Search for Balance. Her presentations challenge audiences to embrace change, find the opportunities in challenges, and grow through conflict.
Tracey graduated from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and began her career as a technology consultant with large international consulting firm. Promotions into supervisory roles provided her with extensive experience in a wide range of industries and operational departments.
After receiving her MBA from the University of Utah in 2002, she began her own independent consulting business, working with both corporations and nonprofit organizations.
Tracey became a leader in the STEM education initiative, serving as the Managing Director of the STEM Innovation Hub and a representative in Harvard University's Pathways to Prosperity Network.
In 2014, Tracey embarked on an 18-month trip around the world with her husband and their three young daughters. As their family's adventure took them through 24 countries on 6 continents, Tracey and her husband maintained a travel blog which gained global readership.
After the family returned to the United States in the fall of 2015, Tracey wrote the memoir of their journey. Excess Baggage blends the comical mishaps of international travel with meaningful revelations of self-discovery.
