Silvia (Sly) Young is a Speaker, Writer and Women's Health Advocate based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Speaking Her Truth

An invisible illness stripped Silvia of her career, social circles and independence, challenging her to rebuild her best life possible. Silvia intimately shares how she overcame the most crushing decade, after enduring twenty-five years of gaslighting and misdiagnoses, by practicing 5 insightful and universal lifelines for conquering life's tragedies and awakening the hero inside us. Silvia also shares taboo truths from ten percent of our sisterhood, as well as a discussion on the state of reproductive healthcare rights. All three programs are based on personal experience and extensive research.

An advocate for women's health, Silvia is Co-Founder of UniteEndo.org and UniteEndo California, raising awareness through social media grassroots advocacy.

Dabbling in design, Silvia creates handmade, metal-stamped, inspirational necklaces selling her House of Young jewelry line at pop-up shops and speaking engagements. A percentage of sales is donated in support of Planned Parenthood.

Silvia's advocacy has led her to be quoted, photographed, and appear on television and online advocating for women's healthcare rights and empowerment.
