World-renowned pollster and New York Times best-selling author, advises national and business leaders with a deep knowledge of social and economic currents

Stan Greenberg is a New York Times best-selling author and polling adviser to presidents, prime ministers and CEOs globally and right now, is conducting deep research in more than a dozen countries. He was the senior pollster for President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and President Nelson Mandela. Greenberg's corporate clients include Boeing, BP, Microsoft, and other global companies.

Greenberg's new book, American Ascendant: A Revolutionary Nation's Path to Addressing Its Deepest Problems and Leading the 21st Century (November 2015), brings a new lens to our current period of change he likes to the Industrial Revolution. Walter Isaacson, author of Steve Jobs, applauds it and says, he has "a great sense of history as well as deep understanding of the hopes and fears of today's Americans."

His book, Dispatches from the War Room: In the Trenches with Five Extraordinary Leaders, led George Stephanopoulos to conclude, "No single strategist has done more to lay the foundation for modern progressive politics—across the globe."

Greenberg was inducted into the American Association of Political Consultants' "Hall of Fame." He has been described as "the father of modern polling techniques," "the De Niro of all political consultants," and "an unrivaled international 'guru.'" Esquire Magazine named him one of the most important people of the 21st century. The New Yorker reported Ehud Barak's victory in 1999 as either a "stunning upset for the country's Labor Party or... just another Greenberg client taking his place as the head of state.". Republican pollster Frank Luntz says, "Stan Greenberg scares the hell out of me. He doesn't just have a finger on the people's pulse; he's got an IV injected into it. He's the best."

He is always on call because his research is relevant, innovative and deep, whether it is exploring the new economy, climate change, new gender roles, political reform, or the hegemonic role of the millennials.

Greenberg always works collaboratively with distinguished Republican pollsters and conducts the bi-partisan polls for NPR, The Los Angeles Times and the Bipartisan Policy Center.

Greenberg and James Carville founded Democracy Corps, the leading organization providing in-depth research and strategic advice to progressive groups, candidates, and leaders. When Karl Rove listed in the Wall Street Journal 10 steps to regain the Republican majority, step one was to create a Democracy Corps of their own. The New York Times' Nate Silver rated Democracy Corps' polls the most accurate in the last presidential election.

His book with Carville—It's the Middle Class, Stupid!—was a New York Times best seller.

Greenberg founded the company in 1980 after a decade of teaching at Yale University where he received a Guggenheim Fellowship. He was educated at Miami University and Harvard University, where he received his Ph.D. They have three children and four wondrous grandchildren

The pollster for Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Tony Blair tells intimate stories about leadership

I was the pollster for five historic national leaders.

It is a mystery how I ended with that honor, and often pinch myself: how did you get to be here?

I worked for Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Tony Blair, Ehud Barak, and Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada-all presidents or prime ministers who won formative elections and then struggled to meet sky high expectations.

These are complicated people with complicated motives, ambitious, self-centered, and with more flaws than I want...

Revolutionary changes that will disrupt America but make her ascendant

America is being transformed by revolutionary changes that some day means America is in decline, but other to say, it will be ascendant.

They are both right, which is why you will want to pay attention if you want to know where the action will be.

The starting point are the revolutions in energy, innovation, big data, advanced manufacturing, but also immigration, racial diversity, family structure, religious faith that are turning millennials and the cities...

Millennials and why they hate business

Millennials have just surpassed the baby boom in size and already dominate the work force and America's emerging values. They will have the biggest say as voters and consumers and shaping the quality of life in our growing cities.

Welcome to the new America, and I share my experience research and listening to them in my work for mayors of US megacities, the largest business consultancies, and elected leaders.

Three quarters of the college graduates have already moved to the 50...

Inside the GOP brain

You will only understand what happened in America over the last few years and year ahead if you understand the Republican Party. The pundits didn't and that is why they got so much so wrong.

For the last three years, I've headed up the Republican Party Project that does deep and graphic research among Republican base supporters. As you will hear, they were angry at a GOP establishment that failed to stop Obama. And now you hear what they want from a President Trump.

The corporate social connection

When I hear a company is being socially responsible, you lose me -- and I'm someone who has advised CEOs and their global companies on their branding and reputation -- and yes, social connection.

Soon I expect to read Wells Fargo will take over the student loan debt of its employees.

I can never take seriously Goldman Sacks campaign to provide business and management training for 10,000 women entrepreneurs globally - started in 2008.

The founder of modern polling's guide to reading the polls after Brexit and Trump

Do you remember when elections were about something not just the latest poll conducted by some network or newspaper?

Remember when polls were right? Not blown away by the latest surprise winner in the yet another referendum or election in Israel, Britain, Colombia or the US?

Pundits and analysts look at Brexit, the defeat of the Colombian peace agreement, and Trump's nine lives and say, what polls should I trust?

Well, the founder of modern polling and focus groups for...
