Dale Griffiths Stamos

Dale Griffiths Stamos is a professional playwright, poet, author, and screenwriter, as well as a teacher, story consultant, and speaker. She is the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions—including the Heideman Award from Actors Theatre of Louisville, The Jewel Box Theatre Prize, an Emmy nomination for her story contribution to a CBS after school special and a two-time Writer's Digest Stage Play Competition top ten winner. Her plays have been produced throughout the country. Her short films have been official selections at a number of festivals, garnering two Audience Awards and one Jury Award. Her poetry has been published in numerous journals and magazines.

Her recently released book, RenWomen: What Modern Renaissance Women Have to Teach Us About Living Rich, Fulfilling Lives was released in June of 2016 and has received enthusiastic editorial reviews from such notable figures as Human Potential Movement co-founder Jean Houston. As a teacher, writing consultant, and speaker, she holds a yearly workshop in "Story Structure for All Genres" at the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, holds "story intensives" throughout the year, is a private manuscript consultant/editor, and has spoken about writing to multiple groups, including the Southern California Writers Association, the Writers Club, the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, and Stage Day LA.
