John D. Lin is a national award-winning professor, recognized by the National Communication Association for inspiring and transforming students into young professionals through public speaking.


John was honored as Professor of the Year by St. John's University, New York, for his Excellence in Teaching. He serves as Instructor of the Rhetoric, Communication and Theatre Department. He specializes in teaching the university core Public Speaking course, in addition to teaching Advanced Public Speaking, Persuasion, Rhetoric of Popular Culture, Business Communication, and Decision Making.


At 21 he became the youngest International Speech Champion for Toastmasters International's District of New York and New Jersey, the 3rd largest district worldwide with over 10,000 members.

With his world travel and eclectic passions, John integrates an innovative style of inquiry and interaction to each of the 70 university classes.
