Do your people work for you or with you? Are they hearing what you say? Do they share your passion and your vision? Are they ready to jump ship the moment something better comes along?

In any community, whether corporate, congregational, or civic, the secret of success lies in creating a culture of ethics that promotes mutual commitment, cooperation, and trust.

Yonason Goldson, aka the Ethics Ninja and the Hitchhiking Rabbi, works with leaders to create a culture of ethics that earns trust, sparks initiative, and limits liability.  He is a keynote speaker, business advisor, and TEDx presenter, as well as an award-winning podcast host.

With four decades of experience studying and teaching history, philosophy, and legal ethics, Rabbi Goldson draws on 3000 years of ancient wisdom to meet the challenges of the modern world. He is the author of seven books, and his column, The Ethical Lexicon, appears weekly in Fast Company magazine.

After graduating from the University of California at Davis with a degree in English, Yonason embarked on an adventure hitchhiking across the United States and backpacking across Europe.  He ended up in Israel, where he spent nine years studying to receive his rabbinic ordination.  He then taught high school for the next 23 years in Budapest, Hungary, Atlanta, GA, and St. Louis, MO, where he and his wife live happily as empty-nesters.

Yonason has circumnavigated the globe, seen the Taj Mahal, the pyramids of Giza, and the tea plantations of Sri Lanka.  He has hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and to the tops of the Sierra Nevada. He's jumped out of an airplane and undergone open-heart surgery (but not at the same time).

Yonason's programs provide entertaining and electrifying insights that teach how a deeper appreciation for ethical principles and clear communication leads to success and happiness in our personal and professional lives.

Yonason Goldson's presentation, "Harness the Power of Ethical Leadership," is highly interactive with five breakout sessions for members to work through case studies on each of the elements of ethics. The scores and comments so far have been very positive. I would also add that due to heavy snow this week in St. Louis, three of my five meetings were forced online. Rabbi Goldson did an exception job of holding our attention and catalyzing participation on Zoom. This is an important topic, especially now in the exceptionally ethically problematic times we live in. I hope you'll consider booking him soon for your groups, hopefully in person, but if not, do so online.

"Yonason, it was a pleasure having you as a guest speaker to our Strategy Team Listening Session! It was absolutely fantastic the way you used ancient and contemporary stories to demonstrate that good ethics is good business. "My favorite part was this: Culture is the single most determining factor in building a successful enterprise. When that culture is built on a foundation of ethics, diversity and inclusion become a natural feature of the community." "Looking forward to having you back!"

"We had the privilege of having Yonason Goldson present on ethics at our Winter Professional Development Conference. He was well received by police command officers who are generally skeptical of a non-cop civilian teaching them anything about ethics. Rabbi Goldson was witty, entertaining, and thought-provoking. It was nice to have a different viewpoint on a topic that is critical, not just to our profession, but to our everyday lives."

Yonason's new book, "Grappling with the Gray," both raises the bar and sets a new standard for personal and professional ethics. More to the point, it provided an ideal framework for our online forum recently, as Yonason was able to orchestrate a priceless "real-time" dialogue with participants from around the world - each of whom walked away enlightened in so many respects.

I had the recent pleasure of attending a business ethics session that Yonason Goldson moderated. Yonason has a calm way of encouraging everyone to participate and shared his input which was a blend of both his research and experiences. That session was my 5th of 5 video meetings I had that day and the only one that I left with more energy than when it started. I highly recommend Yonason.
