Karen works with executive leaders and their teams to achieve long term, sustainable growth. With more than 25 years of business and leadership experience, she approaches client issues with a practical, solutions-based focus. Her experience includes roles as the founder and president of an award-winning marketing communications firm, director of marketing and public relations, business development director for a healthcare start-up and the founder & executive director of a 501(c)(3).

Karen led a learning and development department and was the director of a college-based business resource center where she worked with business owners and entrepreneurs on their business, marketing and strategic plans, team and leadership development, and creating effective and efficient business operations. Karen provides executive coaching and organization development, change management and talent development consulting.

In addition to coaching executives and emerging leaders of larger organizations, Karen still has a passion for helping entrepreneurs and small business owners grow their enterprises. By sharing with entrepreneurs and small business owners the strategies and tactics used by executives of larger organizations, Karen helps her clients navigate their way through the various stages of business growth and development.   

Karen has been a guest speaker and workshop facilitator at professional conferences and corporate training sessions across the United States.  Her clients have included local, regional, and national leaders in healthcare, construction management, professional services, higher education, and tourism.  She is a member of the International Coach Federation, The U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, The National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, and The Association for Training and Development.  Karen is the Wisconsin Chairwoman for the Women Presidents' Organization, and is certified to deliver and coach the One Page Plan and the Entrepreneurial Talents Profile.  She is a licensed roundtable facilitator for the Lowe Foundation's PeerSpectives® and has also received advanced facilitator's training from the Lowe Foundation.
