With an idea and $600.00 Garry Spotts launched a consulting practice in 1993 becoming one of 2 independent master contract consultants for the Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky from 1993 - 1997. Awarded federal grants in 1999- 2000 and 2000-2001 academic years Garry created and conducted a proprietary program, " The Leadership Empowerment Awareness Project" ( LEAP) in the Jefferson County Public Schools through the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers.

Garry has inspired 1,000's of students at every grade level to develop and pursue a values based approach to achievement. His work extended to 100's of parents who participated in his Family Empowerment Workshops and professional educators he served as a professional development presenter.

In 2001 the focus turned sharply to empowering startup and existing businesses as a business development consultant which continues into the present.
