Education- With two master's degrees in education and over 25 years of teaching preschoolers through college level students, Sally still works in the classrom as a part-time elementary school teacher and is a lecturer at Iowa State Univeristy in the Kinesiology Department. Sally teaches teachers and others how to utilize brain-based learning to effectively keep students engaged in learning. She gives audience members instant, fresh and relevant techniques that can be utilized immediately that can be confirmed with brain-based research. Wellness- Sally has a background and experience in the fitness and wellness field as a personal trainer, health teacher and certified laughter leader. She owned a wellness center working with adults to build personal fitness programs. In the "Wellness Works" prorgram", Sally will utilize her expertise as a fitnesss instructor to help motivate audience members to live a healthy, activie lifestyle. She has led laughter yoga exercises for hundreds of people of all ages while also educating them on the importance of utilizing humor to improve health.
