My journey began in motion pictures and eventually took me to event management with a large association. Here I fell in love with volunteerism and event technology. Now I want to share my knowledge.

I love the feeling of leaving the movie theater after experiencing a film that takes you on an adventure. So while others may have run off to join the circus, I ran off and joined Hollywood.

As lighting director, director of photography, and even some directing and producing opportunities with the likes of 20th Century Fox, Disney, Paramount Studios, and Lions Gate Films I had an amazing experience working on some of the biggest productions in the world.

Deciding to further my talents I sold my lighting company in 2008 and moved into event management as with SPIE, an international non-profit Optics and Photonics association. Here, with the support of our executives and management, I formed an event-technology team and brought innovative technology and design elements to our worldwide events.

I volunteer on numerous boards and committees including Meeting Professionals International, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and Infocomm International. Most recently I've been tapped to speak at conferences, universities, and business groups at both the local and national level on a variety of topics from technology to leadership.
