Fitness industry veteran Forrest Walden founded Iron Tribe back in 2008 out of his 400 square foot garage. As his garage gym grew in popularity, Forrest put plans in place to start a brand new concept that would take his team-oriented group workouts to the next level. The first official Iron Tribe location opened in February of 2010 and reached their 250-membership cap (with a growing waiting list) in less than eight months! With the goal of franchising the concept from the beginning, Forrest refined the business model to plan for more locations.
