Donna Embree
Dr. Donna Embree is the Director and Facilitator of the International College of BioEnergetic Medicine and the Institute for Unified Medicine. After a dramatic personal experience with complementary medicine, she decided to combine her passion for natural healthcare with her life-long passion for helping people live full and productive lives. Donna has had a long and successful history as a BioEnergetic Practitioner, Naturopathic Doctor, Educator, and Mentor.
After receiving her certification as an ND, she opened a very successful practice in the Denver, Colorado area where she treated patients for over 20 years. Her experience with a wide-range of modalities (including BioEnergetic Medicine, Nutrition, Herbology, Homeopathy, Jin Shin, Reiki, Iridology, Color & Sound Therapy) allowed her to develop a customized approach with each person she treated and reinforced her strong belief that individualized medicine would eventually become commonplace. Her vision is to create a system of Unified Medicine world wide.
In 2005 she relocated to North Georgia to direct the educational efforts of an international homeopathic and natural remedy company and has trained hundreds of healthcare practitioners over the past ten years in the effective use of complementary medicine. With the true heart of a teacher, she has excelled at providing education and mentorship to practitioners in a diverse range of disciplines, including naturopaths, chiropractors, medical doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and practitioners of oriental medicine. Offering introductory to advanced courses for these practitioners, she focuses on assisting with providing individualized solutions for their patients in the context of the inherent design and wisdom of the human body.
As Director of the International College of BioEnergetic Medicine, she helps practitioners transform their practices by presenting individualized tools and training for working at the causative level of disease. She is passionate about the healing process, and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. Her teaching style consistently draws rave reviews and praise for her ability to connect information and techniques back to practical applications. Regardless of experience and background, she speaks in a language that connects to the passion of the healer.
In her own words: "All of what I teach, I know from clinical experience, both my own and from the practitioners I've mentored. It's all about flow. Disease (lack of ease, lack of flow and even unhappiness) is a blockage in the flow system somewhere- we just need to find and address it"
Donna has designed material to help practitioners to:
- Discover their unique design/gifts
- Customize their assessment technique based on their unique design
- Use their personal design to develop their own unique practice/service
- Integrate their service with their own lives so there is no longer a separation between the two
- Teach patients to do the same thing
- Use the principles of the design of the body to individualize patient solutions
- Customize their patient education
- Inspire health from the inside-out
Donna's Passions Include:
- Public speaking and teaching
- Outdoor activities: hiking, boating, waterskiing, airplane pilot, photography
- Competitive snow skiing (slalom, downhill racing, freestyle, aerials, moguls, ballet)
- Horse/animal rescue and rehabilitation
