Matthew is a self proclaimed 'horrible student'. During each class he puts himself in the learner's seat and remembers that it's important to engaging and energetic.
Matthew is a Virginia Licensed Broker and Exec. Vice President of Coldwell Banker Elite, overseeing over 240 agents and staff. After many years as a high producing agent, Matthew began working with agents to help them find success in this challenging industry. Matthew believes that education is a critical element to an agent's success. Matthew has been teaching for many years and currently teaches various REALTOR® designations and a variety of broker-manager courses, technology and risk reduction programs.
Matthew also teaches regularly for national franchises and provides consulting services for brokerages across the country. Matthew has served in various capacities in the Realtor Association and has been the recipient of the Virginia Association of REALTORS® Educator of the Year award, the Fredericksburg Area Association of REALTORS® Rookie of the year, Honor "Role", President's Award and the Code of Ethics Award.
He is an alumnus of the VAR Leadership Academy, a member of the Real Estate Educators Association and the Advisory Member of NAR's Real Estate Buyers Agency Counsel. As an author he contributes to many real estate industry magazines and on-line news venues. Matthew brings his experiences and humor to every classroom. All classes are enhanced with Matthew's experience as a real estate technologist and grasp of the ever-evolving real estate industry.
