Born with eyesight; I had the DNA that would ultimately cause me to lose that eyesight. By the time I was seven years old, I was legally blind. And, into adulthood, I was totally blind. This loss of sight resulted in a traumatic fear of change. Realizing that one of the only true certainties in life is change, it has been imperative for me to conquer that fear. Consequently, I have embarked on a life-long study of change.
I now use these lessons about change to educate leaders and their organizations on how to be adaptive. I am Principal of Maranville enterprises—a professional services firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. I teach leaders how to think strategically. I empower entrepreneurs and executives with business acumen and leadership expertise essential for gaining and sustaining competitive advantage.
I have a Ph.D. in Business Administration with specializations in Strategic Management and Organizational Change Leadership. Moreover, I have 30 years of experience Consulting, Teaching, Coaching, and Training. Think of me as an Organizational Ophthalmologist. I improve the vision of leaders by removing their mental blind spots and giving them new lenses so they can Venture with Vision!
