Since I was a kid I've been fascinated by people and the human condition. I'd lie awake at night wondering: Why do people think and behave the way they do?
As an actress I get to explore that question in the rehearsal hall and put the answer on the stage.
As Speaker I get to help YOUR audiences figure out the answer and then THEY get to take that knowledge back to their boardrooms and behind their lecterns.
From the world of the performing arts audiences can learn how to:
- pitch their ideas to their bosses and clients – in other words, how to 'audition'
- craft a compelling script that captures the head, heart and guts of their teams
- increase their executive presence by implementing the techniques actors use to have great stage presence
- overcome stage fright
- understand human behavior by analyzing a character
Figuring out what makes people tick – whether they are characters in a play or a boss or a client or a member of the staff – is what I really love to do.
Professionally, I've spoken to audiences in Pharma, Financial Services, Telecom, Energy and Advertising as well as dozens of Women's Groups.
I've also:
- coached C-suite executives at Proctor & Gamble, Novo Nordisk, Deutsche Bank, TD, J&J and Citi Group
- been Vice President of a 6 million dollar training company
- ran a program for the Canadian Federal Government called: The Job Finding Club
- designed communication and storytelling workshops for Fortune 100 companies
My most rewarding work is with people who are eager to learn – and who challenge me to be my best.
