Creator of the "Speak From Your Soul Solution," helping heart-centered entrepreneurs and coaches find their unique voice in order to share their soul-based message in public.

I believe the world needs people to tell their stories.

Now.

Really, what are you waiting for?  We've been so inundated by the icky stuff - sensational newscasts, bottom-feeding reality shows, violent video games, ads telling us we're sick - that we've almost forgotten what real, uplifting daily life is supposed to be like. But I believe that every single one of us has the ability to change that.

YOU have a story to tell that will counteract the icky stuff and actually make this world a more spiritual and supportive place. It happens when you share it with your clients so they see more of the real you, or when you speak what's in your heart at a business meeting, or when you go out on a limb and let your audiences know that you're really a spiritually-minded person. But you have to share it.

I'm Lisa Dale Jones, the communications coach for heart-centered speakers, and I want to help your audience members learn to tell their stories.

Instead of just speaking about speaking, I get audience members to actually come up with their vision statements and start to uncover their stories. I have volunteers share with everyone else - so it's more like a workshop than a speech. Some of my methods are unconventional, but they're a lot of fun and definitely bring results!

How did I learn to bring out stories and help people speak in public?

For ten years I was a radio producer for The Christian Science Monitor. My passion was getting (extra) ordinary people's stories on air. I had a knack for quickly knowing how a story could be told that would bring out someone's core and keep audiences listening. My programs' audiences grew fast, and I won the prestigious Gabriel Award, given for journalism that "uplifts the human spirit." The story I won it for was about - yes - storytelling!

More recently, I was editor and training manager for the speakers' bureau "Speakers with a Spiritual Perspective," based in Boston. I worked daily with 50+ spiritual healers as they told their stories and explained spiritual concepts to public audiences at over 1,800 events a year worldwide. I helped coach them to be confident public speakers and to develop their stories and skills in training meetings in Boston, Vienna (Austria), London, Johannesburg, and Washington, DC.

Since founding Speaking with Soul in 2005, I've brought to my speaking clients that same knack for quickly knowing how their story can be experienced by an audience. I can help your audience members learn how to grab their audiences.

I look forward to working with you!

"Hi, Why are you?"

Audience members learn to share who they are with others by starting with their vision, rather than their professional label. It's a whole new way to do an "elevator speech," and can be used everywhere - networking events, business cards, website, bios, etc. Everyone gets to practice it, and some audience members get to be coached on their presentation skills as they share their vision statement with the group.

Discovering your story

Through instruction and guided meditation, audience members are led through the process of uncovering and telling a part of their life story that can inspire others.

Waddya know? How to create your talk.

How do you put a presentation together? Most people don't think in terms of formal outlines. So what do you do with all those ideas you've got swimming in your thought? This workshop helps audience members learn different methods of coming up with ideas and then winnowing them down in order to inspire their audiences and make their offers in a natural way.
