I've spent my career as a pioneering snowboard mountaineer, professional athlete and mountain guide, with over 50 first ascents and descents on the worlds highest and most challenging mountains, making calculated decisions with a high level of uncertainty in the face of extreme danger. I generally chose well, but occasionally not. It is the "not" where the gold lies. As a keynote speaker I venture into the murky world of poor decision making and share the gold that has resulted from tragedy, connecting with and inspiring audiences.
