I am a Certified HIPAA Professional. I am also a Certified Security Compliance Specialist. In 2009, I created an employee HIPAA training program that is specific to RIM companies, including scanning/imaging companies, and shredding companies. This training also applies to moving and storage companies. With the amount of medical offices that move, the handling of their information is critical. I have since expanded to include courier companies, medical facilities, and city/county government and court employees, correctional facility administrators and law enforcement agencies. I have performed this training at more than 50 companies, municipalities, and organizations across the United States, Guam, and Trinidad & Tobago.
