Follow me on a journey of the last 25 years in manufacturing from outsourcing and shutting down factories across America to the inside of factories in China, and finally, the rebirth of manufacturing in the U.S. I will tell stories of my travels around the world as I set up factories in low-cost countries, to my work helping build the case for bringing manufacturing back to America.

I am the Executive Director of the Reshoring Institute where we are working enthusiastically to reestablish advanced manufacturing in America. Now our factory world is full of automation, robots, and the Internet of Things. This is not your grandfather's manufacturing!

I am an Amazon Best Selling author with of 5 books on global supply chains, and a unique and entertaining speaker. I frequently get rave speaking reviews. Audiences come away having learned something new and charged up to change America.

During my 25-year career in consulting and in industry, I was a Managing Director at SAP, Supply Chain Practice Leader at KPMG Peat Marwick and Answerthink Consulting, and Regional Manager at Hewlett-Packard. I have worked with over 80 clients worldwide.
I earned an MBA from University of San Diego and a BS in Business from Arizona State University. I teach Global Supply Chain Strategies and Architectures at UC Berkeley.
