Mary Anne Dorward

Mary Anne Dorward, PCC, is an author, coach, speaker, and multiple cancer survivor. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she s a veteran of the National Speakers Association and has been a professional actress on Broadway, television and radio since the age of 17.

As a PCC, professional speaking coach, Mary Anne Dorward's clients have included CEO's , Politicians, Sports Celebrities and Humanitarians in the US and internationally. Her commitment to making the world a better place through both her writing and her company, My Real Voice , has inspired, motivated and enabled thousands of individuals to speak both strategically, successfully and authentically to their many different audiences. 

She is currently working on a series of books, of which "Words to Thrive By®: Powerful Stories of Courage and Hope" was the first and which was published in 2012. In 2015, Words to Thrive By® for World Travellers: Footprints In Ecuador was published. This book was about her two year adventure living abroad in Ecuador.

Mary Anne recently completed her third book, "Survive To Thrive 11 Keys To Unlock Your Thriving Life" which was published by Powerful Voices Press in 2018.

Mary Anne currently writes a blog for her website www.WordsToThriveBy.com. Her blog, "Footprints in Ecuador: An American Woman's Life Changing Journey" is currently being read in more than 150 countries. You can find that at www.footprintsinecuador.com. Her articles on her work as a professional speaking coach around the world have also been featured in the magazines Media Inc and Bizillion.

Mary Anne is an avid world traveller and speaks fluent Spanish. She speaks, presents, produces and coaches in both English and Spanish to her audiences and clients around the world. When not writing or speaking, Mary Anne spends her time kiteboarding, paddleboarding, creating art and feeling grateful to be alive. She currently lives in Oceania.
