Craig Solberg grew up on a farm in northeastern Iowa before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in May of 1989. He was employed by Freese-Notis Weather of Des Moines, IA from his graduation through November 2012, reaching the position of Senior Meteorologist in charge of all domestic and international weather forecasts for agricultural and energy clientele. In December 2012 he joined Nesvick Trading Group, a brokerage firm located in Germantown, TN as their lead weather forecaster. He has been a guest analyst on CNBC, and has been a speaker for such groups as the American Oat Association, the Wheat Millers National Federation, Cotton Council International, and the American Farm Bureau.
