Urika Ramseur has been professionally licensed in the Real Estate Industry for over 17 years. Started her quest in real estate at the age of 19 acquiring a property via tax sale in the City of Detroit. Ms. Ramseur acquired over 2 Million in real estate by the age of 29. She experienced the rise and fall of the real estate market in Michigan, as the entire nation followed.
Urika Ramseur has held numerous licenses; Real estate appraiser, Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Lender/ Servicer. Ms. Ramseur has international experience. She has consulted on Development Projects in the Dominican Republic. Currently consulting and brokering for Ocean Front/ Beach Resort Living Home site in Costa Rica Development Project.
Ms. Ramseur is now an Author, Radio Host and Speaker regarding various subjects. In 2008 she began writing about the real estate industry decline and the causes. Primarily the pitfalls of foreclosures and mortgages.
Her writing career began through certain usurpations and abuses that she encountered in real estate as an owner of properties in Detroit and the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. She learned remedies and defenses during a 7 year quest to find answers. Studying law at the highest levels, anything and everything pertaining to real estate asset protection. She gained knowledge of how homeowners could protect themselves against unlawful foreclosure and mortgage fraud. Through her trials and triumphs she figured out a way to protect and keep title to her properties.
In 2011 Ms. Ramseur published "Myth Behind Foreclosure, Wall Street, Big banks and You!". She share's with the reader pertinent information such as, remedies against foreclosure, current laws against big banks to protect homeowners, how the real estate and mortgage meltdown was intertwined with the stock market crash and much more. This is the first book in the series of books to help inform the public of rights many do not know they have.
