As a minister at her church, Wright focuses on developing programming for the women's and health and wellness ministries. She assists with public relations and social media endeavors, as well as website maintenance for the church.

Wright has spent several years as a spiritual adviser to student-athletes and often speaks to members of the higher education and athletics communities regarding social media responsibility and their spiritual well-being.
