Terrence Ferguson is a dynamic speaker who has a passion for helping people. Terrence has been speaking for several years now and in that time frame has delivered powerful, personal, and professional speeches and trainings to different families and organizations. So far Terrence has spoken in the High School and Church settings. Terrence has also held private coaching sessions for families as well.
Terrence's primary focus is helping students and families obtain empowering information that will help prepare students for college and help families be able to afford college. Terrence has been helping students find out how to pay for college ever since he graduated from High School in 1995. Terrence received a number of scholarship offers for undergraduate and graduate school. Ultimately Terrence accepted over $100,000 to attend Norfolk State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Terrence's presentation titled: "A Free College Education is Possible! I Did it and you Can Too!” gives families strategies on how they can prepare and get FREE money toward the student's college education.
Terrence also has another presentation titled: "Taking the Stress Out of Senior Care". Although Terrence is only 35 years old he has spent over 20 years helping to take care of his parents. There were no standard operating procedures on how to get help to care for a loved one. Over time Terrence has learned about resources that can help make caring for a loved one easier. Terrence would love to pass on some of these resources to families who are at their wits end.
Terrence is a member of the National Speakers Association, and has been a member of Toastmasters International for the past 7 years. Terrence is currently working on his Advanced Communicator Silver level in Toastmasters. Terrence has also held several leadership positions within his Anchor Club Toastmasters organization.
