Most Requested Topics
Technology: Our Culture is innundated with technology. Parenting is difficult in and of itself, but this only adds more complexity to navigate. This teaching offers both spiritual and practical application that you can implement in your home to regain connection and set boundarires.
Purity: Purity is beyond not having an intimate physical relationship before marriage. Purity is being pure in our thoughts, in our hearts, with our mouths and with our bodies. "Above all else guard your heart," the Word tells us. There are eternal treasures kept there.
Moms and Daughters: As a mother, you have the privilege of raising the person who will grow up to be one of your best friends. The bond between mothers and daughters is sacred, valuable and lifelong. It must be fought for, protected and grown. Mother Daughter events are an opportunity to foster deep relationship and open communication.
Moms and Sons: Being a mother to a "man-child" as Beth Moore would say can be tricky business. Our sons need our support and our nurturing, but they don't want to be coddled and babied. How do we hold his hand yet come along side our husbands in raising him to be a mighty man of God and the leader of family? Oh it can be done and there is much laughter and adventure along the way!
Raising Influencers: Not all children rebel…I am so anxious for the day when godly parents will begin to refuse the lies of the enemy and raise their children to be an influence instead of fearing that they might be influenced. Our children are called and equipped for greatness! Let's take the ground!
Warning Signs Every Parent Should Know: The world that our kids are growing up in looks quite different than it did when you and I journeyed those halls. The temptations and the difficulties they face are real and powerful. What things should we be watching for? What is the dialog young people use and how can we stand against the attack?
Grace Based Parenting: Grace based parenting is centered around relationship. Grace doesn't mean that there is no accountability. It simply means that our relationship is the very thing that validates the accountability and input.
Believing for the Miraculous: I don't think we have a problem believing that God can do what He says He can do…but will He? We can know that God will move on our behalf and we can set our hope in His character.
Teen Events:
- The Sex Talk: This presentation is for parents. I believe that parents are unaware of the authority they have in the lives of their children. It is God-given and powerful. I love nothing more than equipping parents with information on the culture their kids face; sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, abortion, degrading terminology, casual sex and the list goes on and on. But facing their culture with your eyes wide open, armed with the Word of God and by the power of His presence…you win!
- Influencers: This presentation is for teens. I, for one, am finished worrying that you will be influenced and fall to negative peer pressure. I believe that you as a Christian teen, have been called for such a time as this. God has equipped you to make an impact…to be an influencer! Find your passion in Christ, seek Him with your whole heart and He will thrill you!
- Chosen: This is for pre-teens. You have been summoned by a great King! You are a princess in His Kingdom and princess behave in a manner worthy of their Father. This presentation focuses on the fruit of the Spirit and applies it in a practical way to your girl. What does kindness look like to a 10 year old when her best friend is being mean to her? How does he or she exhibit patience with their 5 year old sister? How does he show strength and self-control when the bully is targeting his friend? We will see because…You are CHOSEN!
