Susan Power is the Owner & CEO of Power HR Inc, a boutique human resources company that specializes in coaching and building leadership capability. Organizations that build leaders attract and retain top talent. Susan has worked in human resources for 15+ years building her consulting skills at the global management consulting firm Accenture.
In 2016, Susan sold her first human resources consulting business (Higher Talent) in St. John's, Newfoundland, and is building another practice with Power HR started up in 2018 based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Susan is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), and has a Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree from the University of Calgary. Susan is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS). She has served as an HR Instructor at the Gardiner Centre at Memorial University (Newfoundland & Labrador). Susan has facilitated leadership development sessions and training sessions with many organizations including South East Local Health Integration Network (SE LHIN), Newfoundland Power, St. John's Native Friendship Centre, Gardiner Centre, Newfoundland & Labrador Construction Safety Association, St. John's Board of Trade, and We Connect International etc.
