On November 22, 2008 Duane endured an injury that claimed three fingers and his thumb on his dominant hand. Although the injury was the result of a poor decision, Duane has used that action to help others analyze where they have sacrificed their safety by being complacent. Duane's presentations act as a guide to overcoming the adversity and struggles we face in life. Duane displays a vulnerable and passionate approach for navigating the physical and emotional trauma caused by an injury. His presentations empower and positively impact people in industry and at home with injury prevention.
