
MiVida Burrus
MiVida Burrus is founding President of FaithWithHeels, LLC. FWHs was formed in 2008 with a mission of supporting women and helping to connect them to organizations and resources that strengthen, encourage and uplift. FWHs finds quality resources, services and groups that will educate and provide opportunities that improve the lives of all women.
MiVida has a passion to help women enhance their lives and achieve their desired goals. This passion was birthed out of her need for social and community connections. She then realized that she could be the bridge that connects women to quality resources. These connections will provide a tool for guidance and business development as well as strong mentor structure for both the mentor and mentee.
MiVida brings to the organization a wealth of knowledge and many resources in helping women accomplish their goals in improving their lives and giving back to the community. She is currently a member of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce, Bible Motivated Women and the Student Activity Alliance for OCC and ACTS Impact Community Center. She has been a volunteer at several community shelters and organizations helping others.
She is a recent graduate of Oakland Community College obtaining her Associates Degree in Business Administration and is continuing her education at Walsh College of Business in Troy, MI.
MiVida has been traveling extensively presenting motivational speeches to groups. Her message includes education, empowerment, and reciprocal giving. She has been the keynote speaker at 2012 Achieving the Dream conference, 2012 Gates Foundation Convening, and many other local engagements around Michigan.
