Ideas and concepts contained in this book have been shared with audiences throughout the world, with dramatic results and demonstrate how we can take charge of our lives. Logan highlights the significant benefits of humor and laughter and introduces the Whole Person Concept - a balanced, systematic program for growth and progress in the four broad areas of one's life; physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual - and one of the basic tenets or doctrines of MDRT.
Logan's presentations on visualization have significantly impacted individuals, sports teams and companies. This is covered in detail in the book. As human beings, we are endowed with incredible capacity to dream big and to convert these dreams to reality. To drive his message home, Logan also introduces practical real-life examples, snippets of wisdom, and profound quotes from leading thought pioneers. But the book isn't only for members of the financial services industry; the content and principles can help any person step out of the ordinary and power up to a higher level of excellence and success in their own life and career.
Logan is the 2013-2014 Zone Chair in the Membership Communications Division of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). In this role, he oversees MDRT activity in the Middle East and Africa. He is a 33-year member of MDRT, with eleven Court of the Table (COT) and three Top of the Table (TOT) honors, including 2014 TOT. Logan previously served two terms as MDRT Country Chair South Africa, two terms as MDRT Zone Chair Southern Africa, and has served in numerous other MDRT capacities over the past 20 years.
A Financial Consultant at Discovery, Logan is a B.COM graduate, a Certified Financial Planner, an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London), a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with the Chartered Insurance Institute, and an Associate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa.
Logan is also a Professional Speaker and has presented nationally and internationally to thousands of individuals, companies and organizations with a message based on encouragement, hope, and vision. His main focus in the past, besides South Africa, has been India, where he has spoken extensively over the past two decades.
His company, Logan's Speakers Bureau, facilitates and sources speakers for clients requiring motivational, inspirational and keynote presenta- tions, life coaching and conference facilitation.
The following were Logan's most recent presentations in 2013: LDEA Convention, Mumbai, India; MDRT Connexion Zone, Philadelphia; MDRT Days, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam; NHAN Con- vention, Chicago; and Life companies in Dubai. Logan was also a Main Platform speaker at the 2014 MDRT Experience Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, addressing 5,100 delegates, and he is scheduled to do two presentations at the June 2014 MDRT Annual Meeting Connexion Zone in Toronto, Canada.
