Tom Gallagher
After earning a Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Tom began his career with Beaver Foods Ltd as a manager trainee and worked his way up through positions of unit manager, district manager and finally regional manager by 1987. He became skilled at wring proposals, creating budgets, hiring, training and leading team members as well as ensuring that we achieved a healthy bottom line.
A seemingly innocent request back in 1983 to deliver a leadership skills training program ignited in Tom a passion for helping people and organizations thrive that still burns brightly today! Through the 80's, 90's and the first decade of 2000, Tom operated his foodservice management company while travelling the country speaking to groups about how to improve interpersonal and leadership skills, performance management and how to create and maintain a corporate culture based on Trust, Honesty and Mutual Respect.
In the past 25 years Tom has delivered hundreds of talks, seminars and workshops to thousands of people. In the process he has developed an approach to improving an organization's culture that he boldly guarantees will result in respectful collaboration for any team anywhere at any time!
Tom is also a proud member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. His topics include:
