He holds a Master of Science degree in technology management, a graduate school certificate in forensic document examination and is a certified quality engineer.
Wakshull managed global Information Systems projects and managed Corporate Quality Risk Management for a global biotechnology company. He is on the adjunct faculty of the University of The University of Redlands and has lectured on 4 continents.
