Joe Schuler, Jr.

Joe Schuler, Jr.

MD, US
I ghostwrite books in collaboration with accomplished men & women seeking to boost fees & contracts.

I am an accomplished journalist who has written more than 3,000 articles over nearly 30 years, for publications such as the Philadelphia Inquirer; CEO Update; The Press, of Atlantic City; New Jersey Monthly; Pennsylvania Business & Technology; Mid-Atlantic Country; Remodeling; and Custom Home. My work has won more than a dozen awards, from the American Society of Business Publication Editors; the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists; and the New York Business Press Editors. I was a finalist in American Business Media's Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards, the "Pulitzer Prize of the business press."

Before forming Schuler & Co.| BEYOND WORDS, Llc, based outside of Washington, D.C., I held positions as bureau chief and editor, in daily newspapers and magazines. For one publication, I was a credentialed journalist on Capitol Hill; for Remodeling, as a senior editor, I coordinated its annual leadership conference, contracting experts from such organizations as the Disney Institute, FedEx, and Southwest Airlines. I worked with notable authors and speakers David McNally, Carr Hagerman, Roger Crawford, Jim Harris, and Scott McKain.

All of this experience, when I decided to focus on ghostwriting books, led me to seek vibrant material that had the chance to transform lives. Working with NSA speaker McNally as executive editor, I wrote a biography of Bill Pulte, a notable philanthropist and businessman, founder of the largest home building company in the nation. My second book was a business book written in collaboration with Beverly Koehn, Loyalty is Love: How to Hold Clients Close for Life. My most recently completed book, Holy Hands, with Fr. Clement J. Machado, launched in October 2011. It's a departure from the business world. Father is a missionary who travels 175,000 miles a year, serving people worldwide.
