She worked with Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry.  She primarily worked with and counselled business class and skilled immigrants from all over the world- many of whom she met on international recruitment missions which she spearheaded. Most recently she worked with Alberta Innovation and Science where she was the Ministry Specialist for Alberta's Provincial Nominee Program.

She is a contributing writer to the Human Resource Institute of Alberta's Network magazine, Calgary Real Estate News, AMBA Matters and  a monthly column in Home to Home.  In 2008, Tina was chosen to be a part of Dove's innovative Campaign for Real Beauty- representing diversity in beauty.
