Starting out as a secretary, I soon followed a passion to help as many people as possible by moving into teaching and training. With over 30 years in the industry, I've lived and worked in Singapore, Bahrain, Canada, and UK.
Founder and CEO of STTS Training Pte Ltd in Singapore, I currently work with professional speakers and trainers to provide first-class training around Southeast Asia and beyond. I also collaborate with partners in other countries to help them extend their offerings globally.
I was very proud to be President of Asia Professional Speakers Singapore 2011-12, and since then I have served on the Executive Committee of the Global Speakers Federation. In July 2017, I was honoured to become the 21st President of the Federation.
In my motivational speaking and communication training, I put a lot of passion and energy into my sessions to make sure they are entertaining, practical and informative, as well as a lot of fun. I strongly believe that it's important to be both a high-energy and high-content speaker. It's essential to engage quickly with audiences, and show people how the strategies I teach can easily be applied both personally and in the workplace. My aim is to educate, inspire, inform and motivate individuals and teams to make a difference in the workplace and to communicate and lead with heart.

I'm blessed to be author of 12 business books on communication skills, and have established myself as a leading authority on modern business writing skills. The seventh edition of my international bestselling book Model Business Letters, Emails and Other Business Documents has sold over half a million copies worldwide and has been translated into 15 languages.
