Tee Persad, Esq., attorney, civil certified mediator, and public speaker, is a recognized pioneer and thought leader in the field of business and law.

 Mr. Persad has worked in the legal profession for over 20 years. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, the United States Virgin Islands, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his Juris Doctor degree and his Masters in Public Administration degree from the University of Akron in 1993 and 1994, respectively. He also holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from the University of the Virgin Islands and a diploma in paralegal studies from New York University.

Mr. Persad's experience in the legal field includes experience as a lawyer, certified mediator, and arbitrator.  He has worked on complex commercial litigation and class action cases, complex business and real estate transactions, corporate legal matters, serious criminal cases, including murder cases, business immigration cases, and complex divorces with high asset value. He has also worked with troubled businesses, helping them avoid bankruptcy and return to profitability.

Mr. Persad has represented individual clients on a pro bono basis, middle income clients, wealthy clients, small and medium sized businesses, and fortune 500 companies. His client list includes the every day worker, lawyers, doctors, growing businesses, and multi national corporations. His experience in almost every area of practice gives him the ability to identify and solve complex personal and business issues ranging from complex family, immigration, employment, bankruptcy and criminal law issues, to complex business and administrative law issues.  His practice now focuses on representing:

  • 1) medium & large businesses with legal, transactional, transitional and growth issues;
  • 2) medium & large troubled businesses with avoiding bankruptcy and returning to profitability;
  • 3) business owners with complex personal business and family related legal issues; and
  • 4) high level executives with complex personal business and family related legal issues.

In addition to practicing law, mediating disputes, and arbitrating disputes, Mr. Persad also offers his time and expertise to the community. He has served on the Florida Bar Association's Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for the 9th Judicial Circuit. He often speaks to the community youth on life and career choices, and educational goals. He has served as a director of several local chambers of commerce, and has donated numerous hours of his time to represent indigent clients on a pro bono basis.
